Help Down Hall save the Victoria Hall Theatre in Old Harlow Town.
Down Hall Country House Hotel has joined together with the Friends of Johnny Wong Organisation to help save the Victoria Hall Theatre in Old Harlow Town from being taken away from the community and being sold by Essex County Council who currently own the building.
In memory of passionate theatre supporter Johnny Wong, The Friends of Johnny Wong Organisation have created a recipe book - Johnny Wong, Cooking for Friends, and is selling this for £5 per copy. All donations from book sales go straight to the Victoria Hall Theatre Society which will enable the organisation to buy the theatre back from Essex County Council and keep it in community hands.

The Meadow Pavilion
This beautiful pavilion offers the closest that the law allows to an outside wedding! Skilfully designed to blend into the fine, open Essex countryside by the banks of the River Roding, it is believed to be unique in the UK.
Roofed with traditional peg tiles, and with a timber frame, the pavilion provides shelter, but its open sides allow guests to look over the surrounding farmland towards nearby Beauchamp Roding church.
